Dr. Peter Davis ~ Owner
Dr. Davis joined Pine Tree Veterinary Hospital in 1982 as a veterinarian, but actually started working here stuffing envelopes and as a kennel attendant while in elementary school. He considered it an honor to go on farm calls and help his father, Dr. Langdon Davis, to treat the dog and cat patients.
Dr. Davis graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. degree in Animal Science in 1978 and with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1982. He is past president of the Maine Veterinary Medical Association and also represented the veterinarians of Maine in the American Veterinary Medical Association house of delegates for nine years.
Dr. Davis lives in Readfield on a certified tree farm and enjoys making walking trails and fat tire bike trails in the woods. He also spends a lot of time training his two versatile bird dogs.
